or cow ladies too.

Here's a pic (tho' not a real good one) of one of Jr's cows. When is she going to calve? Give me your best guess and I'll let you know when she does. She was pregged to have a calf before June 1st.

My guess, using the tried and true SWAG principle, would be 7:17 a.m. MDT on June 4, 2007. If this guess is correct, I understand that the prize will be a nifty saddle made by Jinglebob, with a 16" seat on a modified association tree.

Thank you for your consideration. :-)

Hey if there is a JB saddle up for the prize, count me it! I'd say May 30, 2:45 pm MDT. My swag system isn't very accurate, but what the hey!

Sorry, no saddle. Just the fact that you will be known as the smartest cowman or woman on Ranchers.net.

Well okay, a saddle, but the shipping is going to really cost you! And the tax!

I was REALLY excited about this contest...pretty sure I have the date and time down to the second BUT when I saw JB was backing out of the saddle I decieded nope I'm not giving JB the satisfaction of knowing the day,so I'll wait until he posts the date and time ,then and only then will I tell you if I was right or not :!:

Yeah, yeah, sure, sure.

Just like a woman, promises, promises.

Anmd I didn't back out of the saddle. Just got to get paid for the shipping. Of the leather, and the tree and all the tools it's going to take and me, back and forth from the shop to my bedroom and back and forth, so on and so forth.....

Not to mention all the liquid refreshment I'll need to do quality work.

may 25,230am hope your up JB to verify :) :)

You bet I will. You see, I am cowman enough to tell exactly when a cow has calfed by looking. Thats whay I never need to go check too early.

Kind'a like some of these bull raisers who know exactly how much a calf weighs without using a scale.

Hehehe, well around here most of the time....I can tell by lookin at the backend. Bag tells alot but not all. We have one old angus cow, I swear she don't ever get loose in the back. I jokingly say......'it' stays the size of a quarter till she starts huntin bushes.....her bag gets fairly big.....that's the only way to tell with her.

When you least expect it............when her back is down hill..........when it's not the nicest weather.............when you are in a hurry to get off the place to go attend something important. How about May 28 and I'm not saying an exact time because I'm gonna go so far as to guess she'll do it somewhere off by herself........where you might not even notice until the new little thing is up and has had is first meal.

i agree ,at the worst possible time, when yure in your good town clothes. P.S.iwent and looked at your saddles will gladly pay all F.O.B. to fl.anytime

Throw that in with a little more and by golly, we'll build you a saddle. :cboy:

When you've gone to the store to get some more beer on June 5, 10:02 am (It's 1:00pm somewhere).
