hell friday and saturday mornin is supposed to be 18 here. 18!!!!!!!! thats gonna make for a hell of a cold boat ride to the duck lease. :shock:

I just never could git use to cold weather,seems like ever thing sticks/breaks/goes slower or is frozen,hafta git on so much clothes you caint do a damned thing,been cuttin firewood all day,guess I will get me a fire going too.

Well sittin' on the back porch with a guitar in hand is a distant dream around here this time of year, Hay Maker. So I perch up on the front of my rockin recliner with my Mansfield 12 string across my knee and hammer out a bit of CCR's Do, do, do, loookin' out my back door and remember when it was so hot last summer that I thought I was gonna melt into a puddle of sweat under the shade tree.
Then after a bit of waylon and willie Don't cuss the fiddle I remember that I still gotta feed a few calves and kick over into Deep Purple and Smoke on the Water fire in the sky . . .
Warms my bones just long enough to git up the ambition to get outta the chair, step over the dog and tell the kids to go feed them dang calves . .
Works like a charm. No whiskey required.

Likely will. Cain't snuff out an old goat like him that easy. After all it takes some kinda tough to survive a rat attack if yer dumb 'nuf to throw a match into a tinder dry, rat infested brush pile.
