Some pics from today, next time I'll clean the lens better.

Fog over Anahim Lake with the Rainbows overlooking the area.

Hoar frost with Render Ridge in the background.

The Republican herd out rustling with a minor amount of handouts.

There are 235 young cows, heifers and a few ol' darlins' in this group, they have lick tubs and are getting 2 bales a day to supplement their rustling. You can see where we fed yesterday, they ate that spot right to the ground.

Nothing like Mo-lasses when they was no-lasses yesterday.

Cows look good and that big old flat field is sure attractive to a hill country boy.

As the crow flies we would be about 150 miles west and a touch north of the Gang.
When we first started out, we leased a ranch on the east side of the Fraser straight across from the Gang. We were there at the end of the Alsager turmoil.

sure miss that country , them mountains look like the one's west of hungry valley , but hey I'm from the prairie , I guess all them mountains look the same . one day I'd like to see more .

Looks cold up your way pal. The cows are haired up nicely and look to be fairing just fine. Hope the grass stays uncovered for a while longer for you.
