Toilet paper, yes, for now. Milk, no. Meat, yes (my own production). Chicken, yes (my own production). Corn meal for human consumption, no. Running water at the house, no. Electricity, yes and pretty stable these days because the pueblo is now hooked into a PDVSA line. Sugar, yes (for my bodega). Coffee, yes, at least for a while. Rice, yes (for my bodega). Spaguetti, yes (bought for the bodega).

As you can see, what normally would be considered an everyday-product by others, is considered a luxury here. Welcome to socialism, price controls, and a gubmint that will take care of all your needs.

And, like OT and The King, nothing is this gubmint's fault. It's always the opposition's fault. NEVER accept responsibility, NEVER. Which is why I keep telling you guys that the parallels between what's going on here and what I see developing in Amerika are striking.

Oh, and if something goes bad on a tractor or other piece of equipment, you'd better know how to make it or else be prepared for a very long wait because you're not likely to find it any time soon. Everything's imported here and it's all paid for with $$$$ so if you don't have $$$$ you're S-O-L.

How about Vigortone mineral? Or McDonalds "Angus" burgers?

Those seem to be awfully important to some.

I gave up on the stuff because I bought 3 bags eight years ago and my cows wouldn't eat it after it was rained on and the rats pizzed all over it. After a few years I started trying to get my money back from the guy who'd sold it to me, but the SOB had hauled off and died and refused to take my calls. If a guy (company) won't stand behind its products, then I won't use them.

Now, keep in mind, I had invested something like $90 on this stuff so I wasn't going to let them get away with it. I called the local Sheriff, the Attorney General's office, the Governor's office, Homeland Security, ATF, FBI, CIA, and the HNIC and all of them promised they'd help me. So far, nothing, which can only mean this is a conspiracy on the part of Vigortone to screw me.

Now you see why I don't use a product a company won't stand behind?
