Advocates for Agriculture just had a phone conversation with the energy company El Paso Corporation. They are giving over $20M to environmental groups like the Western Watersheds Project. In return, these groups dropped their opposition to EP's new proposed pipeline. WWP's goal is to use the money to stop ranchers from grazing on public la...nd. Even after talking to EP, and I do appreciate the call, I have to call 'em how I see 'em. Please contact them and ask them to support ranching families who's livelihood will now be affected

Western Watersheds is basically Earth First is sheep's clothing! And in my mind the Nature Conservancy is like a little brother to both of them.

I believe the Nature Conservancy broke away from Earth First. A common manuever to hide agendas. Also these type of groups will form different non-profits groups one to collect money others to lobby. 501 c 3 and 501 c 4, IRS types.
