Tom Cobb gave the message. He is the pastor who performed the marriage of Peach Blossom and I about 29 years ago. It was an 8 a.m. outdoor wedding, in a natural amphitheater near the Niobrara River, on land owned by the Cobbs.

How did you get the silhouette picture? Ive always tried, but cant ever do it!!

Katy

I pointed the camera at the sky, then held the shutter down part way to hold the setting until I snapped the photo. The other picture where you could distinguish detail on the peoples' faces was done just the opposite. I focused on the ground, then held the shutter part way down until I brought the camera up to take the picture. That held the setting until I was ready for it. Hope this helps.

Very nice pics,I like the idea of a sunrise service, although I think I'll mention to our minister that summer may be a nicer time,it looks a tad chilly :)

Beautiful pictures! It may have been chilly, but at least it wasn't snowing like it was here  We were completely white again, but thankfully, by noon it had melted. Spring just doesn't seem to want to stop in.

Thank you for posting those beautiful pictures. We don't have a sunrise service and kind of miss that (but not the cold part.)
