Emily Did It

If a person was to make a Cribbage board out of one of those antlers it would take all day to play one game. Very nice buck. Our mulies around here pail in comparison. I could probably locate some good buckin stock mare and deliver them about this time next year if you're interested NR. The hauling would only cost a hunt.

There was a huge, heavy antlered buck trotting around here that everyone wanted to bag during deer season a few weeks ago. Nobody got him.

Until last week when a guy in a SUV nailed him over one road from us. A 14 pointer.

A crib board outta moose would be cool. The "Native" bought me one for my b-day made out of a muley horn. It sure is pretty. Moose tags are hard to get in Wyoming though.

I passed on a lot of bucks this year too but it never paid off like that! What a great deer for your daughter. I'll be eating my tags again this year. Keep hoping I'll see one of those next year bucks next year. How old is a deer like that to get that kind of mass?

Wow thats a cranker! If you ever hunt this country you can't help but gain huge respect for the whitetails. Deep snow, extreme cold and wolves and coyotes to evade while living on willow sticks for 6 months of the year. Congrats to Emily and Ty. 7x7 typical whitetails are extremely rare.
