My friendly dentist, whom I have done business with for forty years, decided he could make me a fake finger. He did a pretty good job of it, and the best part is it didn't cost an arm and a leg. The only time I will use it is to plink on the piano. It fits between the black notes, which Stubby doesn't do. Anyway, I'm happy with what Dr. Lawrence Gunner, DDS, from Winner, South Dakota did for me. Thanks, Doc.

And presto, a new finger

My new addition, and it helps me with my addition. I can once again count to ten pretty easily, and count on up to twenty if my boots come off.

Still batting two-thirds

It fits between the black notes much better than Stubby.

Works pretty good. Now if I just hadn't forgotten how to play the piano. Of course it's hard to forget something you never knew how to do in the first place.

it is nice to know that you can still get along with a guy who "gives you the finger"

Looks like he has done quite a job and has crafted it at an angle that will facilitate piano playing quite well. I'm not sure quite why you would need to reach between the ebonies though.... of course that may be why I never got to be very proficient on an 88
