I don't think I'll ever get through with a side job I've got going doing some box-blading, when I get enougfh time off, it rains just enough to muck it up. But thank God for the rain, we definitely do need it.

It still rainning here lightly and getting colder. The radar shows a little snow to our north and east I just hope it stays there and get just get rain.

We are just outside of Anahuac in Double Bayou, and we picked up 2.7 inches last week! Needed quite badly.

We had planted 135ac of rye back in September, and even though it was up, it was only about 4 inches tall...we got about 7/8 inch a week ago, and that rye shot up 2 inches...this 2 inch rain ought to be the kicker to get it full blown.

Let the cows out into this past Saturday - Tried to open a bag of cubes for em, as I let them into the rye, and they looked at the cubes like it was poison and darted for the pasture at a full sprint.

99% of the time you cant put cubes out by hand for fear of being trampled because they want them so bad....this day the grass was looking better to them.
