Megan's old dun mare Dusty finally had a stud colt-the old girl is bred in the pink-Poco Bueno,Peep San and Doc's Jack Frost all close up but she is kind of rotten-hopefully he inherits some of her evilness. I think darn near three quarters of our mares go back to this old girl.

Proud Daddy-he's kind of neat he never gets more than about five feet from you when you are out in the mares-never gets aggressive just keeps an eye on things-he gets his first flank this fall or next spring.

The only difference between you and a post Dennis is a post has a sunny side for part of the day. I live for your little pieces of inspiration your the cutest little curmudgeon I've ever known :D

highlonesome if you like broncs there's an american buckinghorse futurity in Spearfish July16-17- $130,000 total pot so I imagine there'll be some buckers show up. These are just getting going in the bucking horse deal but have been around for bulls for years. I wish I could make it to Sundre,Alberta this weekend the day Ty is up there's some good U'S cowboys hooked up with some great Canadian horses.

Northern, are you going to Spearfish? That's not too far from me and I knew it was coming up, but had forgot about it. That was a sho'nuff nice lookin stud. I'd pick one like that over a cute little cutter reiner any day. Those are horses to be proud of.

Hey NR a guy sure could of gotten in the bucking bull business cheap at Sterling Livestock Commission yesterday. Mike Cervi dispersed the cows he raises bucking bulls out of. Most pairs under $600, some under $500. Not much interest at all.

I wish I was going to Spearfish but hopefully I have to watch Ty in the short go at Calgary-I like to dream big lol. Yeah the bucking bull business is tough-I'm down to one left and I sold my rodeo cows a year or so ago. I do have a soft spot for bucking horses though. Cull mares are almost worth about the same as a cull cow up here.
