Finding a nice/good man for a nice/good woman....

For those of you that are married to ranchers, or ranchers, out there, how did you find your spouse?

I am a 50 something lady who grew up in the country with horses, spending her weekends barrel racing in rodeos. I moved to the city and had my fill of being s suberbian and with a career. I got back into horses a few years ago and long to get back to country and that way of life. Even being snowed in out in Colorado, Montana or Wyoming sounds good to me.
I would love to find a not necessarily rich, but successful Christian rancher, needing a partner. Being from MN it is slim pickens to find a rancher here. I tried westernmatch.com and it is mostly younger people.

Was home from college for the summer working on the ranch 6 long days a week, Saturday night went dancing at Dad's Bar ask a girl I went to high school with to dance, She said she had a date and ask her friend. I asked the blond sitting next to her to dance she said yes then stood up her long legs carried her up to 5'10". We dance all night took her horseback riding in the rain the next day. My granddad happened along and acting blinder then he really was got close to her horse and got a really good look then a smile too me. Year latter we were married then one more year of college then a summer in a sheep camp wagon herding cows..... Only one big argument ever and that was during that summer. I packed out some salt, taking the truck keys with me. Spread the salt took the halter off the pack horse and stuffed in in the panard. When I got back way after dark the horse were hobbled and turned out and the pack saddle had been taken apart every strap..... We made up , we had disagreements but no fights since. Kneel across from each other over the corner of the bed each night and have a prayer together makes it hard to be mad at each other.

I would suggest that if you want to meet a rancher you should move to ranch country. Matter of fact we have lots of nice little communities in our area. Not sure how many single ranchers their are out there, but you sure can't beat the lifestyle. My guess is that you probably won't find to many ranchers on the net unless it might be on a sight like this.
By the way I worked with my wife's uncle, he introduced us. We met in August got engaged on Christmas day, and married on Dec. 20th a year later. I can't say that I have as good a record as jody, we have had a few good ones, but always work it out. She has blessed me with 3 great children and a wonderful marriage. I have never regretted a day we have had together, Life is good.

I was considering sending you a "PM" but decided against it since Im old ugly obnoxious and dont have enough money to buy a low cut dress for a humming bird.
