A freezing 60 degrees this AM for the Southern gal!!! Our high will be about 85 today...and all the humidity is gone...

Brrrrrrrrr.... ( I know you're laffin)

FROST   We're having SNOW....+3....Sorry no sympathy for you Ranchy..lol

Kola...yup you definatly deserve no sympathy,we'd be swimming in that weather

35 here- rain and snow, but no snow sticking-- north place is down to 34 and has about 2" on the ground in the shaded and grassy areas....

Beautiful moisture tho :D

we had a front move through last night. rain and hotter than sin, turned on a fan to goto bed.....3 in the morning there were icicles hanging off my toes....

got an inch of rain, but looking how the tree limbs were laying in the pasture, I think we had a small bit of that "round wind"

gonna have to check with the neighbors to see if they had any funnel sightings.

LOL a low this mornin of about 75 degrees, high today expected to hit 95 degrees with 80% chance of rain, we've already had a couple showers this mornin, so humidity level is sittin right about 100% nice n muggy.

Gosh, we might have got down into the 50's last night... We are warm for now than tomorrow or Tuesday a front is coming in that will cool us down... Would love a good hrd frost to kill the flies but I think I can wait another month... Yeah, October 17th would be just fine for some frost on the pumpkin.

Well it was 95 yesterday, hauled in a load of small squares of praire and left them on the trailer for today. During the night had four tenths of rain. Sure was nice no matter how little. Today it was around 75 which made it pretty nice to unload and since the Chiefs and Denver game wasn't worth waching, but the NASCAR race was good.

cool and able to see your breath when I left for work at 6 this morning!!! Lots of snow in the mountains and lots of rain in the valleys.....7 day forecast says tomorrow is supposed to be the only sunny day for the next week or so!! More rain and temps in the 30's and 40's (for the HIGH!!) due by Wednesday!!

      If he had not gotten the last 200 acres of his second cutting baled, I have no doubt that you would be reading an obituary notice somewhere on ONE of us!!  Got it baled and stacked the day before the big (and WELCOME) rains hit!! Now, we just gotta deal with the cold and the upcoming storm system!! He still has several hundred acres of wheat to harvest and today is supposed to be the only nice day for awhile!! Amazing what a good mood he is in despite things!!

We had 25 on Sunday Morning, 17 this morning. Supposed to be around 32 tonight, but we will see. Built a fire in the stove for the first time this fall last night.

Snow on the San Juans and the Sangre de Cristos, sure is pretty with the green and yellow trees. Colors should be full next weekend.

Took my mother in law to Gunnison and Crested Butte (the HS kids call it Crusty Butt) yesterday, snow in all the high country around there.

Ugh.. My wife got home tonight and we have dropped into the low 50's and she showed me a lovely sight.. One of the windows was open and the whole screen was covered with flies trying to stay warm... I hate this time of year with the flies and bugs trying to get into the house... Come October the Asian lady bug invasion will begin and I am really not looking forward to that.

Thermometer outside the window behind me on the back porch says 35. We've had 2" of rain since last Wednesday, but no snow. Saturday morning there were alot of flakes in the air, but it didn't stay. Coldest it got through this 4 days of soaking was 34, so if it warms up now, it'll be great for the regrowth in the stubble we'll graze through October. It'll be real nice too for the 100acres of brome and alfalfa we seeded this year, to go into the fall good and wet.

Went to a horse sale in Bowman ND on sun and that was miserable. Gusts up to 50 sustained at 35 and very cold. It snowed around Baker but wasn't staying on the ground to long. This am it was 29 at 6am. My hubby and brother snuck off to do some elk hunting up in Ashland,HA Ha HA . I love to hunt but I am a fair weather hunter, none of that sleeping under the wide open frozen skies for me :!: I covered my tomatoes on fri and don't plan on uncovering them until at least sat. Hope it warms up a little.
