I don't suppose that the Flames, Canucks, Oilers, Canadien, Leafs, and Sens in that order will get me in the top ten. If the first four were out I would root for the Leafs.

the Canadians???!!!!!   you're close enough I could come and wash your mouth out with soap!!!!!!!!!

You have been down south too long. That is
Canadien

My Grandfather had a big ceramic frog in his sitting room with a name tag hanging from it. Pierre was it's name. He never lived in the Chretien era but I could imagine what effigy would be in Jean's name. lol :)

Canadians don't just like hockey we use pucks as baby soothers. This a bit off colour but funny-my friend and his wife had their first son this winter. It was a bit of a difficult birth-they summed it up by saying-'He hasn't laced up his skates yet and he's already causing stitches' lol.

Speaking of whining....ask Les about Pronger......

I'm surprised one not on the list if the reffing was SOOOO one sided......

Went to a Hitmen game tonight. They trounced the Kamloops Blazers 8-1. Pro hockey is no more entertaining than major Junior and Junior is way more affordable. NR, a peewee team could get lower bowl seats for $10 each. We were 7 rows back for $25. Last Flames game I went to a couple of weeks ago were $225 each. (Oil company exec game them to us). We have several friends with seasons tickets and get the privilege half a dozen times a year.

per - You are not the first to make that observation. I have never been to an NHL game and as long as there is good OHL or university hockey that I can watch for $8 -$10, that is where I will spend my money. I don't know what it would cost to watch the Leafs, but if one could even GET Leaf tickets, $200. wouldn't get you very close to the action.

That's the strange thing, as poorly as the Leafs have done for the past few years, they still sell every seat every game. . . . :???:

I like all hockey-I watch easily 100 plus games a year lol. Between scouting out young kids-my kids-my friends kids-local boys in the show-and just games we watch for fuin lol.
