Heard the frogs singing lastnight. This is the second time.
Grandpa always said that once the frogs started singing, it had to get cold enough to quiet them 3 seperate times then spring would be upon us.
Supposed to cool off again late in the week and maybe put the frogs back to sleep. The trees are stuggleing to hold their buds and it is a smoldering 52 here now.
Gets much warmer it'll be near too hot!!

Seeing Lilly's green grass made me want to hook up the hay bine. We can't get any hay made till June let alone APRIL  . :D

We still have snow, but its really melting...My favorite sign of spring is always the frogs singing,no frogs yet but hopefully soon 8)

After the snow goes the sloughs, ditches ect have water in them, thats when the new frogs come and it can get really loud at night....love it! Another Alberta sign of spring is gophers,Greg and I went out to check for calves this am,and theres gophers like crazy skipping on top of the snow. Our daughter the gopher mass murderer is on her way out the door with her 22

I've never really associated frogs singin with spring, here I think it matters more whether it's wet or dry.....I know they sure do sing after it rains.....they hop all over the roads too.
Lilly,ya live in Texas,you don't get spring :P
