The kids and I were planning our fall hunting and getting oor big game draw apps all figured out. First year to go down south for Emily so she's pretty pumped about Mulies. Ty, Sara and I are trying to draw in for Antelope I haven't shot one in almost 30 years-we all went in the moose draw together lol.

What zone do you try for moose?
I'd love a chance for a big prairie bull but won't hold my breath. Been super A for a long time.
We live in historical moose country but our numbers are way down. Wish I could say the same for elk.

Somebody gave me some antilope a few years back it was so goaty tastein, it stunk up the house. Is it all like that? I give it to my anty mosalee who is a black lady and she said it was fittin. Never had no moose. Have heard it was good and not so good. Elk is sure fine. As good as beef. anyways, venson, its what's for dinner. Bled out and deep fryed and drug threw some cain surip. Or smother fryed with rice.

If you take care of wild game right it's really good eating if you don't the dog licks his butt to get the taste out of his mouth. We trim all the fat-don't leave the bones in and cut it up right away without hanging it-seems to help.
