went to a funeral for a old fellow that had lived just south of us across the border. A genuine gentleman that was always happy to see you. He was quiet but had a great sense of humor.
One fellow got up to tell how he always like to take Lee with him on his travels. They were in Regina one time and got stopped by the police. They were going the wrong way on a one way street, a policeman stopped them and ask if they had not seen the arrows. Lee replied"Arrows? I didn't even see the Indians."
His traveling partner was sure they were going to jail  The policeman got them turned around and sent them on their way.
After the big fire in Outlook Lee's house burned down right into the basement, nothing left. The pastor was standing between Lee's house and the church looking at the fortunately minimal damage to the church. As he was standing there with 2 ladies from the congregation Lee drove up. The pastor was concerned about what to say, but Lee had no soon got out of his car and said" I'd invite you folks in for coffee but the house is in a terrible mess."

His Dad had a custom built Sentinel Butte Saddle I'm sure it had 18 inch swells. :)
