Cut the oats yesterday with some snow still at the bottom, boy are they wet.
We have a dry day today and rain forecast for the next three.

Spent the morning tiddling up the baler and playing tag with a few cattle buyers.
Got three loads of calves sold for Oct 23 delivery. No costs and good money and no worries about what the market does.

Now I better get out and bale before I get fired.

I wish you lots of luck and sunny days Gcreekrch . :)

We are soaking wet everywhere here too. Had to take the pup west to the vet this morn and everywhere was greenfeed ,canola and second cut hay laying down and covered in snow.

No snow here yet and we are to supposed to get into the 20's this weekend, hopefully we can get our second cut done and baled. So far behind this year that is is really depressing.

glad to hear you got some calves moved for a good price. :D

don't worry about getting fired....when i guy works for free, there ain't much chance of it.

Got enough money out of them calves I'm thinking about buying a hundred broodmares for a tax writeoff.
