I hope Vinatieri's dad has a chance to read this comment of yours. I understand that his father was one of the "sportsmen" testifying against our landowner sponsored license bill that would have allowed his son a chance to legally hunt on the private property of a landowner who would sponsor him.
I'm sure there are plenty of landowners in South Dakota who would be proud to let Adam Vinatieri use their landowner sponsored license and have an opportunity to hunt on their land if they were granted the right to do so. Too bad his father didn't give a little thought to his son's situation before he testified against a law that might have helped not only his son, but other native South Dakotans that no longer live on the "home place".
I hope he does. Obviously he agrees with me.

And I am sure by your thinking he probably would have paid a pretty penny to do so also!
I hope he sees your reply and takes offense to the way you made him look so stupid. I'm sure that he "thought" about the affect that the law would have on him, his family, and the state and voiced his opinion accordingly.
LB, I would have thought you might have grown up a little by now. Just because someone doesn't agree with your point of view doesn't mean they haven't weighed the facts and come to their own conclusion. Or wait, you are in polictics now! Thats right, smear the opposition??? Is that how it works?

I have to agree with SJ. I sure that surprises you, right?
Nope!

If Janklow told Cooper to knock off some of his political enemies because Janklow thought it was legal, according to your reasoning, Cooper should have felt perfectly safe bumping off anyone criticizing Wild Bill even though Cooper knew that, regardless of what Janklow said, those actions were illegal.
Come on LB, That is far stretch even for you to compare those 2 things. A sentence of life in prision vs a fine. GET REAL!

Sorry, but the two were equally culpable. Both of them swore to uphold the law and both of them violated it, as did Daschle's aide, Eric Washburn.
There is plenty of guilt to go around and absolutely NO punishment was dealt to any of the culprits because they had political cover that the average citizen doesn't have.
Doesn't seem right to me, but I guess you're okay with it, huh?[/b]
No it doesn't seem right and all of them should have been punished. But Janklow knew it was just as wrong as did the other 3. He was the top dog and he should have been the 1st hit.
Why do you defend Janklow so much???
Don't you think Dachle knew about the whole thing???
Why do you place so much blame on Cooper???
Ummmm..... scratch that last one. I answered it myself. It's because of you bias opinion and plain hate of Cooper isn't it???
I didn't like Cooper that much either, but I have to give him some credit for standing up to the backwoods thinking of people like you! You talk about being ran over by GF&P, while you "west river" types try to run over the rest of the state. If I have to live by a set of rules, come Hell or high water YOU will too!
