I went with Ty to his specialist yesterday and he got his knee checked out-he thinks that he tore the cartilage down in MSU the fall of '09 then his horse rolled on him in the PFRA this fall and made it quite a bit worse. He can repair with arthroscopic surgery so that's the good part-alot easier than repairing ligaments. He flies out to Calgary for an MRI tomorrow than hopefully has surgery soon-he rode 8 days after his last one so if he heals this one for a couple months he should be good to go. I officially raised a hick the xray clinic was about a hundred yards from the dr's office-instead of redressing he walked over there in his gym shorts and big Baffin boots in -30

He must be pretty confidend in his endowment. I'd be worried the technician would be a hottie and she'd laugh at my insy (cold shrinkage).

Hope he gets his knee fixed and heals well.

You know I've seen cowboys walking through hospitals with shorts on and their boots, so nothing to worry about. It is normal behavior.

That was the topic for discus sion this morning. my traveling partner will no longer accompany me if I continue to wear a combination of shorts and my riding boots. I don't think the standards are that high in Wickenberg. my kind of place.

NR you don't want to know some of the things I've seen in hospitals.

The guy wearing the blue hospital gown wearing his cowboy hat walking the halls with his IV pole and wearing his boots.

I t is real important that this kid not be a knothead like his daddy. He needs to do everything the physio folks tell him and take his time. I have seen too many guys get into a hurry and go back way too quick and never get healed right.
