My cousin has a place over by Toponas, Colorado. It is south of Steamboat Springs. He is fighting snow again this winter. He is feeding with a team and sled. He has two teams, and is looking for a third as both teams are tired. A lot of water has gone under the bridge since I lived in the sandhills. I worked on a place southeast of Soapweed; we fed hay with 6 Belgians abreast. It was easy to see if one was shirking. Watch the tugs, and be sure all tugs are tight. If one horse wasn't pulling his share, I "encouraged" him to lay into the task. What would happen, if every time I saw slack in the tug, I just unhitched that horse because he wasn't pulling his share? Pretty quick I couldn't move the load. Sometimes churches are willing to let people quit because they are not doing that much anyway. Folks, that ought not so to be! Be a Barnabas, and encourage others to be faithful in the work. We need to keep the team intact. This is so important! Well, have yourselves a good Sunday mornin', and a good rest of the week too.
