We have been hit with several winter like days.. In Eastern Colorado, a lot of feed got frosted before it was cut. It has all been swathed, but lots of it has been snowed on and has been to wet to bale. Finally, the last few days have been drying weather and the balers are working with a sense of urgency. Here it is early November, and the old adage of "making hay while the sun shines" is fully applicable. We all know that the hour is late, and the window of opportunity is closing fast. This brings to mind the verse in Colossians 4:5. "Walk in wisdom toward those who are on the outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one." The phrase redeeming the time jumps out at me. The hour may be later than any of us comprehend. God Bless, and have yourselves a good Sunday mornin'.

Thanks for your Sunday message, Shortgrass.

My uncle Les passed away on Wednesday and a memorial service is set for Monday....I'd ask that all of you folks here would pray for safe travel & comfort to his family & friends. This last year he grew closer to his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ and I know that through that saving grace we'll meet again.

I had an uncle that was like a father to me. We talked cows aalll the time. I noticed in the last years of his life, that he talked cows less and about the Lord more. He, too, grew closer to the Lord in his last year of life. What a hope we have in the fact that we will meet again. They have gone on ahead, and we will "be along drectly." Prayers are with you & yours...........................

Amen Shortgrass and my prayers are also with you Triangle Bar. I lost my favorite cousin at 2:30 this morning to brain cancer at age 55. What a beautiful day for his first day in heaven. He was always a man of character and integrity but never too spiritual until the last couple of years. I was so priveleged to attend his baptism last Monday and thank our Lord that we have the promise of resurrection.

I too ask for prayers for his family as they deal with their loss.

Wow, just in this reletively small circle of friends, there are two families who lost a loved one last week alone. Perhaps the Lord is saying to us, that "Yes, the hour is later than you may comprehend. Walk in wisdom toward those that are on the outside, reedeming the time..........."
