Good Sunday Mornin'

Since mornin' comes an hour early, I'm gonna cash in a bit early. An ol' Indian said that only a fool thinks he can cut one end of his blanket off, sew it on the other and have a longer blanket! Daylight Saving Time! We Yankees are doing that. Do our good neighbors to the North partake in such foolishness? We can not save time. Second by second, minute by minute, hour by hour time comes at a predictable pace, and then it is gone. No one saves it. We can only redeem it for something of value. That raises the question, "What is of value?" We all trade some time wisely, some foolishly. The best investment of our time is in things of eternal value. David said to God "So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom." Paul told the Ephesians "see then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time because the days are evil." The idea is not just to use your time, but to use it wisely, because one simply cannot save it. Have yourselves a good Sunday mornin', and a fine rest of the week too. Spend that time wisely!

Thanks Shortgrass, your message is much appreciated as all of them are.

We do have time change, except for Saskatchewan as no one wants to spend an hour there longer than they have to. :D

Well we got it right and don't need to change. :P

I'd be first to admit I spend way too much time in front of this machine when I should be doing more productive things. And I won't have any excuse to get something done outside with some actual spring weather coming the next few days.

Shortgrass, I certainly appreciate your Sunday messages. The time it takes to click and read your post each week is well worth it. Thank you!

BMR/gcreekrch, here I thought you Canucks were so advanced you measured time in metric! :P :P :P

JohnSD, I will give you an example of differences in times use and value.

Most areas use the term "If I don't get it done today it will be done tommorow."

Due to shortness of seasons in our immediate area, this is known as the "next year country".

gcreekrch, someone gave me a "round tuit" with a magnet that sticks on the door of the fridge. I don't really have any excuse not to get stuff done because my "round tuit" is so handy.

Thank you Shortgrass!

I for one hate this time change. I guess I probably don't mind it so much when we deeper into spring/summer, but right now, I just really dislike it. I was just starting to go to work in a little daylight. No mas.

Have a wonderful day, and great St. Patrick's Day week! St. Patty's is one of my favorite holidays!

Cheers---

TTB
