It is fun to write this Good Sunday Mornin' blip each week. Often I will finish something that I think is just a really great thought, and it will receive little response or attention, and then sometimes I write something down that I struggle with, and think that is will be of little consequence, and someone responds that they have found it has been very meaningful to them. It just proves that I am nothing more than a tool that He uses to speak to someone. You, too, are His tool to help meet needs of someone else. He is the one that works in our lives; He is the one that speaks, not us. I might be trying to say one thing, and you will hear something entirely different. Let us be careful to thank God for meeting our needs, whatever they are. There are no great people, but we needy people certainly have one GREAT God! Have a good Sunday mornin', and walk close to Him.

Thanks Shortgrass. Being a tool for God is a good thing.

Your message today reminds me of Acts 9:15. Ananias was a tool God used in converting Saul, persecutor of Christians to Paul, apostle to the Gentiles. Ananias was understandably skeptical when God commanded him to go to Damascus and lay hands on Saul to heal his sight. God told Ananias to "Go, for this man is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before Gentiles, kings, and Israelites" Paul turned out to be a pretty effective tool.

I don't see many kings or Israelites here, but thank you for following in Paul's footsteps each week carrying His name to us Gentiles on ranchers.net. 8)

How many times do we dimiss someone baased on "our" view of them and try to hurt them or dont reach out to them, when in fact we should be? We have no clue that our words will in fact give them Gods message they have been waiting on.......
