Good Sunday Mornin'

All across the ranchlands, cattlemen are preconditioning calves. These calves do not appreciate us working them, or the shots they recieve, but undoubtedly many of the calves lives will be extended and their health bettered because of our efforts. Sometimes I do not understand the reasoning of a painful experience in my life. I just have to trust God that He is wisely preparing me for the future. Perhaps I will be better prepared to deal with a stressfull, but necessary time that I will face; just as we cattlemen can foresee and prepare our livestock, God is lovingly dealing with us for our own best interests in spite of all our protests. Have yourselves a good Sunday Mornin' and a fine rest of the week too.

Thanks Shortgrass. Trusting in God that painful experiences prepare us for the future, even though we might not understand or appreciate it at the time. You just described faith in a nutshell. In the gospel text for today from Luke 17:5-10 Jesus told the apostles what faith the size of a mustard seed could do. Faith is powerful stuff!
