Good Managers are good decision makers. Good decision makers have better relationships, calmer, and usually a bit more prosperous. God tells us how to acquire that skill, and it is acquired, not just natural. Proverbs tells us that the fear of God is the beginning of knowledge; the same is the beginning of wisdom. Good decisions are based on an adequate knowledge of the subject. We all realize that knowledge is not wisdom, and wisdom is probably better, but don't forget wisdom is based on knowledge. May I suggest a definition of Wisdom? Wisdom is good decision making ability. Think about it. Isn't that ol' leather bound book is real healpful tool for livin'............and have a Good Sunday Mornin'!

Thanks Shortgrass. I think we all know folks who might have lots of knowledge but sometimes don't follow it up with wisdom. Myself included, because sometimes I do some really stupid things even though I know better. Another corallary of that would be experience is what allows a person to recognize a mistake when they make the same one again.
