I lost my cell phone today. I felt a range of emotion over it. Anger, disappointment, and disgust top the list. All my emotion was certainly not righteous! However, I am reminded that our Lord is an emotional God. Anger (without sin), disappointment, compassion, and pleasure are some of His recorded emotion that come to mind right off. John, Chapter 11 tells that Jesus wept, and groaned in the Spirit. Lets not forget love! Often, people seem to think of God as a rather uninvolved, emotionless sort of school master type, that is simply checking off our activities as approved or non-approved. Our Lord is very involved with the lives of His people. Does your life involve Him? He is full of compassion and mercy. Praise His Name! Have a good Sunday Mornin'.

Were you still up lookin' for it at 0026 hrs.?
Thanks for the reminder that our God is an emotional (but in control) God and that he gets angry (but sins not). Hope you find/found your phone.

Good lesson on the nature of God! And sorry about your cell phone. I lost mine a month ago and found out that one of the worst things about it is having to replace all the numbers on the contacts list . . . . really frustrating. Do you think God feels frustration too at times?

I am sure we all do our part to drive him to that point...
The blessing of losing your phone is that you can have a bit of quiet time to gather yourself...there are many days I wish I would lose mine...
