It's that time of year. The wind blows. I expect lots of folks have been discussing the wind. It takes a very argumentative person to say that they really like windy days, but I've heard it. One comment I have never heard from anyone is that they do not believe that there is wind. You can't see the wind, but because of the effects of the wind, no one doubts its existence. Yet people will argue that God does not exist because they can't see Him. They must blind themselves to all this proof that surrounds us. To say God does not exist is as dumb as saying the wind does not exist. If He is real, it makes sense to know all you can about Him. Let's not fall into the trap of creating a God that satisfies our imaginations, let's find Him as He is. Have a good Sunday mornin'.

Shortgrass, all of your Good Sunday Mornin' messages are very good, but this one is exceptional. What a great comparison, and a point to heavily ponder. Thank you.

Good message! I need to get myself back on that trail of learning since I've been kinda lazy lately. Just wanted to let you know that although I've only been on here a couple months, I now find myself getting on here every Sunday morning just to find your message. Thank you! They are quite inspirational and rooted in the scripture, not just opinion. Keep up the good work for you will surely be rewarded.

"Let's not fall into the trap of creating a God that satisfies our imaginations, let's find Him as He is." That is quite an insight. it goes against all my "natural" inclinations to have a safe, predictable God.

My curiosity made me look this up, and now I appreciate the message once again after today. Seems like we get a weekly reminder of the wind. I will try harder to remember the obvious comparision this message draws, but more often than weekly.
