Several years ago, my daughter had couple of 4H steers. One was pretty ornery, and would try to kick a lung out of her or fight what ever he was asked to do. She was unable to sell that steer at fair, so he went private treaty. My folks bought a side of that beef, and it is the only beef my daughter ever refused to eat! I'd encourage her to eat the rascal to get even with him. No dice; she had forgotten all the times he had made her so mad. We can relate to some ol' bovine that has given us all kinds of problems, but we are fond of the critter anyway. Why is it so easy to forgive a cow, and so impossible to forgive a neighbor that Christ loves enough to die for? I reckon that is just wrong. Something to ponder for the week. Have a good Super Sunday mornin'.
