We have a pay as you go flip phone. The wife puts on $5 a month. We don't even use it that much. It just serves as an emergency phone when we are traveling. Verizon says it will quit Feb 2022. I really don't care about having a phone but the wife wants one.

Same here, Mr. FH doesn't even like a phone but I think it is necessary.
