I think Kola is saying that all politicians are the same, and you will just have to get used to it.

Maybe most politicians in DC are the same, but I don't agree that you have to just learn to get used to it.

Doing some background checking on some of these guys, before you vote for them, might be a good starting point. If they are hiding information etc, then they are not trustworty enough to be in Government.

Kola I was told years ago that I should run for political office, but I was too damn honest.
There's not enough tomato juice in the world to wash off the stench that is on all politicians.

Being in politics causes attacks on your family, friends, beliefs and yourself. Now why would I or anyone want to subject their family to the prying, back stabbing, and garbage that goes with it?

That is why a majority of people do not run for office.

Let's get the guy they called "Dr. No." back in.

I believe that if there wasn't such a nasty reputation with being in politics more people would run for office.
Also if you look at it there are 2 main political parties and if you are not part of one you are out of luck. Also unless your also rich your out of the running too.

There is no good or bad in this deal....just degrees of bad that you can deal with.

The problem is that everyone sees things differently. Even on Ranchers.Net, we probably all have in common the fact that we raise cattle. The majority of ranchers tend to lean towards conservatism in their politics, but it is no deep dark secret that not everyone does. Oldtimer has as good of cattle as anyone that posts pictures, but in my book at least, his liberal politics stink. Oldtimer and Sandhusker are bosom buddies when it comes to their love for R-Calf, but when it comes to politics in general their ideas are 180 degrees apart. Ranchers will never become unionized because we are all too independent.

One of my good friends thinks it was too bad the jet airplanes of 911 didn't hit Congress while it was in session instead of the Twin Towers. Then there would be opportunity to start from scratch and get all new Senators and Representatives.

This country has survived quite well for the last 228 years. I just hope all of this highly touted "change" for change's sake alone doesn't wreck it beyond repair.

You want to know who, well here you go. Any blue collar worker, any rancher, any farmer, ANY person who knows the value of a dollar and knows how to live within a budget.
If you want names too bad. A lot of these people don't look good in front of a camera or have millions of dollars. Many don't want the stench on their reputations either.

Some of the ideas have had merit, and have been successful, and some of them have been totally worthless – depending on one's perspective and Political thinking and leaning.

Whether some of you people like it – or not – the Constitution of the United States, at one time, was inspired by God, and in its early functioning operation, worked reasonably well – UNTIL – the greed, avarice, selfishness, wrath, anger, gluttony, lust, and the worldliness of casting GOD from our lives and our schools and our Governments allowed Satan to rule our nation came into being. When the People of this wonderful gift of God chose to worship Satan and his Demons – THAT is when we ALL lost the will and the desire to insist upon our Governmental EMPLOYEES following God's Laws instead of their own desires! If anyone thinks that our Governments (Federal, State, and Local) are not controlled by Satan and his minions, you had better get your heads out of where they are and begin asking God for direction as to who to place in authority of our futures!

To answer your repeated demand for answers, Kola, the place to start for ANYONE to represent the wishes and demands of THE PEOPLE of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is NOT politicians, and NOT preachers! We must begin with men and women who are blessed with Honesty, Integrity, Truthfulness, Character, Dedication, Devotion and Faith to God and Jesus Christ. This is supposedly a Christian Nation, and in order for it to be so, we must include Jesus Christ in the business of our Government as well as in the business of our lives! . . . And this has nothing to do with Denominations, Religiosity or Street Corner Preaching! It has to do entirely with FACTS!
