I'm enjoying another exciting New Years Eve...I'm watching the Bears/Packers and since it means nothing to the Bears I hope they let the Pack win this one...Grandmas already in her wooly Pajamas under a quilt in her easy chair watching a movie...

After both of us working 30 years in the law enforcement/medical fields it just feels great to sit at home-- with neither having to work or be on call for New Years this year as has been the case for so many years.... We've both seen enough of New Years happenings to do us forever....

And since I won't last until midnite to say this- I'll do it now:

You got it, OT. We quit going to New Year's Eve parties a loooong time ago, I used to spend the evening doing the EOY bookkeeping, but now I have them done a day or 2 before the EOY so we just like to stay at home, watch some football, maybe see the year in playing the "Farming Game".

We, too, chose to stay home on New Years Eve (AKA "amateur night" :wink: )......roads are not in the best condition and I am actually OFF for the night (a first in 12 years!!), but have to work tomorrow and take care of all the "after effects"!! Hanta...if I were not on my way to the workplace, I'd join ya for that round of "Farming Game"...one of the hubby's favorites that has grown rather quickly on the rest of us!! But, I must warn you, the hubby is RUTHLESS in his gaming!!! :lol: :lol: :wink:

Happy New Year to everyone. Hope everyone has a Safe and Prosperous Year surrounded by Great Friends and Family. We stayed home and enjoyed movies with our 3 kids last nite, sure fun watching them grow and mature.

around here when a guy and a gal get stuck out in the middle of nowhere, we call that a date!

Happy New Year to all!!! We too were home at 10 pm. Oh for the days when we had energy to stay out past 12.
 
We didnt stay home, but we didn't go partyin either LOL Yeap..barrel racin. Had a great time. All the kids went out to eat, and Mr Lilly and I went to the nearest Gas Station n filled up the Truck. Then on the HEB, he ran in while I was on the phone, and he came out with Oreo's n Milk....WOOOOO HOOOOOO my kinda Celebratin!!!!!!!! We went back to the trailer. Had a quiet night (except for the fireworks at midnight, I thought it was rainin again at first) We chose to stay over night one more night than we'd planned just because we didnt wanna be on the road with all the drunks.
