HAY MAKER,hard at work

Jersey- you are really creative! Never saw a barbed wire wreath before but...why not?! :!: It works and the shelf is really clever, too.
Here's my single tree (didn't know that was another name for it til you posted, Jersey. Still have to hang ox shoes that were passed down in the family from MN and a spatula/shovel that my great-great grandfather (a blacksmith in the Civil War from Pennsylvania) made. On another wall we have an old saw.

I should have added that barely visible on the counter on the left is an old beat up pewter pitcher with a broken lid that my grandmother could remember carrying drinks to the farm hand in the field when she was little.

My grandma was born in the late 1800's and went into nursing in her late teens during the flu that killed so many including most of her nursing class. Took real guts to be a nurse back then. So guess the pitcher is at least over a 100 yrs old, don't know how new it was when she used it.

A suburban girl like me thinks a singletree means like- a yard with ONE tree. :D
Don't worry. It is just another hole in my extensively holey ranching knowledge.
But, on the other hand, I now know about Foot Rot and horse worming... :?

nr---what a beautiful view you have....sure looks green outside that window!!!! :D

Yes, green, green, green. Some is probably mold from humidity!
No drought yet this year for sure. I was going to post a picture but decided it was too boring because it was ALL greens.
We have had a plentiful supply of butterflies attracted to the zinnias. One thing I noticed for the first time: nothing seems to like black eyed susans in bloom.
