I vote for net 100%. It is much quicker when baling and on a 300 bale day it sure adds saved time. It also stores better. Our cost has been under $1 a bale for netwrap

We don't sell any hay so our choice is sisal twine.

Weather conditions in winter ice up our bales. Poly twine and net wrap are a real pain to remove when this happens. The last time we used poly twine, feeding took 2 hours longer than cutting the sisal and letting it go.

.....and if you don't get all the poly twine picked up, it plays he!! on discbine bearings.
If I were selling hay I would probably use poly or netwrap, but I would never use it on hay for my own use.

I was being cheap last year and used poly twine on everything this year were back to sisal.With sisal I don't get out of the tractor.
