Took a bunch of boring old cow photos today, this set is from the newlywed bunch.

The Alberta second calvers are still adjusting to living in the bush.

Hopefully the wet weather they are forecasting will pass by with the wind that is blowing tonight and our heifer ward will dry out. We pushed the snow off this area 4 days ago.

Looks like you've got the same weather down there as we do up here. We lost a lot of snow today with that wind.
Your cows look to be in perfect calving condition.

you asked per if their cows ever lose wieght, i could as you the same thing :D cows look good, the sheep.......well, i better not say

Yup they look in good enough shape for me. My cows won't see any tree shelter until July and then it will be protection from sun and hopefully rain. That's the good thing about snow, it can be moved. :-)

If those ol' ewes start looking good to you Justin it's time to visit the cuckoo doctor. :P

Sometimes money has a bad odor though.

We've got some ewe's here and someone asked me the other day "What's the story there" I replied this place will go to hell when Lane is in total control. I'm 1/2 owner in a Buck and the ten year old owns the ewe's that are eating a donated ration. I bet he makes money on them.

Your cattle look to be in fine shape.

Looking good, as usual :D . Your conditions look similar to mine too...mud, snow, ice. Hope you dry out some.

Welcome to the calving party!

I like those cattle....especially that ol' Miss Calgary Flame!!!! Great pictures and thanks for sharing. Weather around here is drying up nicely and folks are getting in the fields and getting plenty of seeding done. We're even suppose to hit the 70's this week, seems early though.
