Help findin' some folks from the past.

Howdy, can anyone help me locate a working ranch, I think they are located in Wyoming. Their brand was or is Porter circle U. I recently uncovered a motion picture short subject of ten minutes of length shot there in the early 1940's by the U.S. dept of agriculture showing what cowboys were doin' to help the war effort. I know it's a stretch that anyone who was in this film is around today but my Dad is an he was in New guinea as a tailgunner, he is 87 this year. Many thanks, Mark.

i would try calling the wyoming brand board
i bet they have a record of who owned that brand at that time and where they ranched

There is the Quarter Circle U, just north of me. But they are just across the line in MT. That is a Quarter Circle with the U under it. Located on the left hip I think.
