thanks in advance.

Roland Kross from MT and Josh Dukart from ND(Bismarck area i think)

Is Alan Savory still with us? I have several friends who operate pretty successful operations who would recommend the course. I am thinking of going this spring. I went to the Ranching for Profit course and found it helpful. Especially the networking.

it says one of the instructors, Roland Kross, received his training and worked alongside Alan Savory.

I went to one recently in Indiana. Thought it was just good enough to get return on time and money. I just read a book by Jim Gerrish and will be looking for a course he offers. I think its all about who is offering it. Each instructor has an area of strength in their program. That is, may need to attend more than one or find one on the area of holistic mgmt that you are looking to improve the most.

Roland has been at it for along time, since the mid eighties, I would reccomend going, especially at that reasonable cost.

This must the one fellow "
"Kroos has been involved in teaching and designing courses in Holistic Resource Management for more than 20 years. Kross has a bachelor of science degree in agriculture from the University of Nebraska and has worked for the USDA Soil Conservation Service from 1978 to 1985. This experience has taught him that teaching involves the communication of ideas and instilling the desire to learn and to become a self-directed learner."

At $150 you really can't lose.

BMR & Dylan...i agree on the cost side of it. i've heard that these coarses can sometimes be from $500-$700. for $150 and not that far from home, i think i might give it a go.

the bright side of it is, i can't come home any dumber. :? :???:

Understanding the principles is the easy part. The application is the tougher part, for me anyways.

:)

I think you will get a lot out of it regadless! :-)

Yes agree at $150, close to home and instructor with 20 yrs of experience -tough to beat.

My guess from your photos is that you are already applying a holistic approach to management. Going to a school of that calibre will help you tweak a few things that you may be missing.
Any school will teach most of us thick-headed cowboys something.

thanks for the advice everyone. i called and reserved seats for my wife and i. although, i'm a little nervous to find out all things i've been doing azz backwards. :?
