It was a beautiful day here on the northern edge of the Sandhills. The thermometer read 65 degrees at noon, and a fairly stiff breeze this morning changed to just a light breeze this afternoon. Right now, winds are calm and it is 41 degrees. I joked to Peach Blossom this afternoon, "Don't you just feel sorry for ranchers who aren't calving today?" I know that remark will come back to bite me in the backside, but I was just living for the moment.

I do feel bad for you, Oldtimer, that the warm weather passed you by today. If I shiver a little extra for you, will that help? :wink:

yep, it was like 64 at home and 72 in roundup (about 40 miles away) :!: :shock: :!: :shock:
