we feed them for a stock contractor , it seems he couldn't find anyone to feed them , really not a lot of work other then when they go home :wink:

We pulled into the Airdrie Pro Show and Outlaw Buckers were hauling two bulls Ty had rode back in the day. Kind of neat to see your old nemesis's lol.

well I don't think I'd let the girls take one into 4H , but sure are cool .

Our ranch used to keep Rodeo Bulls and Horses. The bulls were easier than herding the horses. I liken the bulls to a bunch of football players on steroids. We just made sure they saw the gate they were to go in and went easy and didn't crowd them and they went. The key was to give every fellow his own space and make him feel as though he was making the decision to go through the gates himself. The horses were like herding cats. They were crazy as loons.

We've found that leading horses (staying in front) works better
than trying to herd them.They are so curious or so social, they'll
pretty much come along. FWIW...

how right you are FH , we ride a few outside horses , they'll pretty much lope to the pen if they don't know the horse . we were at a rodeo ,some how the bucking horses got out on the track , the rodeo queen hooked on too them and took them in to the infield , was pretty cool to see

You know, now that I think of it, you are right about the curiosity of a group of horses. If you ignore them they come up and get all in what you are trying to do but if you go after them it is crazy. Thanks.
