I Hate Socialists.....

The way it used to be in MB was it was the MVRO discretion on if you should have your licence suspended. There was no set amount of points. Say if you did a motor vehicle violation in the States and got charged for it down there. Well when you got back to MB they could charge you for the same offence all over again.
Also say they make a mistake on your driving record. Its up to you to prove they are wrong.
Say they have it in for you, God you dont even want to go there! They are are beaurocracy thats out of control and not accountable to anybody. They are almost as bad as Workers Compensation!
Now im just trying to remember but dont you even have to get your vehicles inspected every year in MB?

Not unless they are over 10000 lb gvw. Now if you go to sell a vehicle here in Manitoba it needs to be safetied or else the next person that buys it cant insure it.

Rod: Are you sure about not paying PST on used vehicles; You pay 7% PST when you transfer the registration to your name........Have paid it on a used 3/4 ton diesel and a 3 ton grain truck and I think it sucks!!!

Yep, it was 3 years ago and I didn't pay a nickle. I just assumed it was still working the same as it always did, and as long as the vehicle had already been registered within SK, no more PST was owing. And the ATV was definitely 2 years ago, because I've cursed that piece of junk almost every day I've owned it
