I need some night owls!!!

NR, high school will keep me up until the wee hours. This particular week, I was sick all week, felt like a train wreck when I got out of bed, and did a poor job pacing myself. Welp, it's Friday, so I have a pile of work to do before Sunday at midnight. I got my new show steer in today, and he needs to be fed about six. So, here's what I'm thinking. Instead of going to bed at 2am and trying to drag myself out 4 hours later, just stay up the whole night, feed my steer on time, take care of school, and head out to work on our roofing project! I'll be here for ya my Canadian friend.

Check in on what Obama is trying to do! That should keep EVERYONE awake. You might even figure out an attack mode. Somebody should!

NR: there are a lot of books you can download at www.scribd.com ....... its almost like going to the library. You can read them online or download as a pdf file.

Also there's www.pogo.com and it works with dialup. They've got all sorts of games, spades, pool, chess, hearts, canasta, just about any type game you can think of.

Of course you could go over to Alex JOnes prison planet and pick out a couple articles you might be interested in and then read the reader comments............ I wonder how many of those people would get to post if they banned prison (and I do mean correctional facility) ISP's??????????
 
I read about two books a night as it is-the drugs I'm on you just don't get sleepy-your just kind of awake. They gave me sleeping pills but not going to take any of that crap just yet.
 
NR....Little Golden Books do not count as readin 2 a night. :wink:

My FIL has trouble sleepin to since he's on chemo. Most of the time he just snoozes in his recliner off and on all night. He's not on a real heavy dose....so its not too bad. But still.....not bein able to sleep when your sposta would get aggrivatin.
 
I can relate NR...
I went into prelabor with our youngest son. The meds they gave me for prelabor made it where I couldn't sleep either... I could just stare at the wall for hours.... :roll: I was told to knit or find a seditary hobby... But I felt sooo bad I didn't want to...... Carter and I was going to write a cookbook titled..... How To Cook On The Couch.... All the cooking chores fell on his shoulders..... He certainly is a good cook now.....

Well I coached a AA practice then went hunting with the girls was having a good nap in the long grass tioll the bucks starting rolling out-the young ladies paseed on everything tonight.
