It's plain to see . . .

Good story and a good laugh. You need to have someone following you video taping your moves.
Like NR, I too need to take glasses off to read. I tried the progressive bifoculs and couldn't stand them. I have a daughter in Optometry school and I had got my glasses at the place she worked. I told her all my problems with the progressives, one being hard to watch TV when kicked back in the easy chair. She told me that I was old and to just deal with it. Well my glasses have gotten so scratched up that I got some new lenses, without the bifoculs. Now I'm back to taking off glasses to read. Now my daughter tells me she isn't going to be my doctor when she is done because I don't listen to her. She says its another problem of me getting older.
I hope its not all down hill from here.

Got my eyes checked and ordered new lenses. I decided to stay with wearing specs for now because from the people that I spoke with who had the surgery, it was about 50/50 outcome as far as results was concerned.

I am also getting one of those lil straps to go around the back of my head and hold'em on since I'm seemingly becoming too unagile to walk upright anymore . . .

So for the price of a calf I will see well again and the strap is $4.50
