We got 2 inches yesterday....and then probably about another .75 inches just a few minutes ago...and it's thundering again!!!

If I had a Happy Dance link/icon I'd sure put'er up here!!!

Creeks are drying up....the sale barns are once again running into the wee hours as people unload their cattle. So this comes at a good time!!

YEAH!!!!

Congratulations on the rain. If you get too much, send some our way. We are not desperate but could sure use a fresher-upper.

Congradulations on the rain!

We've had a couple showers the past couple days that was much needed. However, it's making haying kinda slow. We need the rain for the aftergrowth though.

Doesn't rain make a person feel good!!! We had about 7/10" last night. The first we have had of much significance for awhile. Other places around had over an inch. It stopped haying for the day, but that is okay. Our pastures were needing it. I agree with the "happy dance".

Here's it is..

Still kinda raining a bit.

Some poor man was asleep in his bed in another county.....storm blew up and a HUGE tree fell into the house...right into the bedroom and killed him!

Lots of big lightning strikes also all around the country side. I guess it's just been soooooo dry it's making the strikes worse, not like there's ever a " good" strike!

All the JuneBugs have hatched in a matter of hours. I drove thru a large field and it sounds like rocks hitting the truck so many bugs in the air...and they hurt when they hit you also!!!

We're still in a ' drought' but at least the hay fields got a good drink.

Anybody have any extra- send it this way...Been in the 90's and wheat is burning- and reservoirs are drying up...What was a 40 bushel crop is down to about 20- and not much hope in sight with the forecast...

Did get a .1 of an inch, night before last- that held up the baling a while..

Wait a minute...

I thought that was a guy dancing, but now that I look at it closer, it looks more like Oldtimer slow loping for the computer after he heard something new about President Bush at the watering hole.

hahahahahahahaahahahahah Texan. That was perfect!!!!!

And kola, I am so happy for you. I hate waiting for it to RAIN.
Seems like I've done way too much of that particular thing.

I only worry when it QUITS raining.

SE Montana moisture is very spotty. Hay is 1/2 or less than last year,
but the grass is better as it got so hot and dry last year. It is getting
hot, but the grain crops seem to be holding up. A nice rain would sure
be welcome. So interesting that once it stops raining in this country
it really stops.

I can't get anyone to run to the barn naked tho...

Now if Texan had an icon for that, I'd post it!

Nope- most the comments I've been hearing about Bush at the water hole ain't printable in mixed company...Heard one fella continually referring to him as SOB- which I thought may mean "sweet old Bush"- but I was quickly corrected   :P

Be careful what you wish for!!!!

100 degrees today (was 90 at 11AM) - with 30 mph winds  Baking everything....
Tornado warnings out for all western ND--chance of severe storms here tonight and possibly a little moisture (30% chance) tomorrow...
Forecast highs tomorrow in the 70's...

Still raining................and gonna keep it up tomorrow!!!!

A sprinkle in the night is all we got-- but talk about shock- the 100 degree temps of yesterday turned to 51 degree temps this morning-- with winds gusting to 50 mph.....
They had to postpone the Montana Governors Cup Walleye Tournament until tomorrow because of the winds and danger on the lake...

I hear a few people talking Bush down but the consensus here is that those kind are too stupid to know what's going on in the first place.

"Sort of Whiners" as Phil Gramm called you yesterday. (Personally, I wish he'd have left out the "sort of" part.

Yea Haymaker would have his "Woolies" on this morning if he was here.
I have to go around to all the tucks and find my jacket and vest this morning.

I saw the radar and knew you HAD to be getting rain also.

We're supposed to get some more today, 50% chance...but after today it's going back to just the required " 20% chance".

The hay fields have grown overnite, literally!!
