Started this morning and has rained on and off all day. Looks like
about .8. The wind blew so hard yesterday it was terrible. I certainly
can identify with those pioneer women that went crazy from the
sound of constant wind. We had 60 mph gusts!!! But it was worth it
if it blew this beautiful rain in. I hope we get more tonight and there
is a good chance. I hope everyone that needed rain, got some!!!

We were plumb tickled to get six tenths of an inch of rain today.

Down by Alliance, Nebraska, there was an area that probably got too much.

Good to hear you got rain. Makes the world much brighter!

We sure could use some here since we've had no significant amount since the snow left in early March. The triple mix that we planted on March 22 came up unevenly due to dry soil and is barely holding its own now. Too dry, too much wind, too many frosts.

Got 1.5 inches in east cental colo last night. VERY VERY THANKFUL

Here's hoping, burnt, that your turn will come SOON.

We are over an inch now. YIPPEE!!! Still coming down.
This is a million dollar rain. We needed it so badly~

Hmmmpf! Now we may not see you two in July. :(

Glad there is finally rain where it is needed. That Haybarley will come now. :D

Just come in from chores and checking cattle. 1.6" in the gauge and still raining lightly. It has been a million dollar rain and I will take all I can get. We were starting to get desperate but this should start the grass growing. :D :cboy: :lol2: :) :lol2:

Can you tell I am tickled?

Long time from now to July, gcreek. This one rain won't make us a hay
crop. We were so dry--no rain last fall going into the winter. Hopefully,
this is just the start of some badly needed moisture. I sure feel more
positive about it than I did a couple of days ago. Never give up... :D

Glad you got some rain! Raining here today. Good day for figuring out where to put a workbench in my garage to start a work area for machinery. Luckily my garage is as big as my house, but still has never had room in it for vehicles :D

1.45" for the month of April. Not a good feeling rolling into summer. Grass came a good month earlier than normal and it has stopped growing this week. Chopped some of the best wheat and clover the past two weeks I have ever seen. Then I cut some of the poorest fescue I have seen in a long time.
Go figure

Gotta have the bad times to appreciate the good ones..
