I've been busy doing summer things but still tend to take the camera along. I was downloading some pictures and realized I had over 150 built up. I recall Soapweed talking about clicking a couple months back so this these words kind of fell together as I was typing. ( this was written in jest and not meant to be offensive to anyone, all characters are fictional) or something like that. - --EP.
Clicker Beast!
I finally called my doctor
About a pain that seemed to linger
It was keeping me up at night
An aching index finger
The doc said, ok come on in
I'll take a real quick look
But I'm a betting that it's something
You won't find in no medical book
When I went and finally showed him
His eyes began to flicker
I've seen several of these lately
Tell me the truth, are you a frequent clicker?
I slowly looked down at the floor
And knew that I'd been had
For months I'd tried to supress it
A habit that was all so bad
With a weary sigh I shrugged my shoulders
And slowly nodded my head
Expecting to see some anger
But got a pity look instead
Doc said it's really getting common
I've heard of it all around
From Lily and Haymaker in Texas
In Nebr,. a Jassy andSoapweed it's been found
It's been Tapped in South Dakota
With Turkey Tracks it's also known
To miss Katy and other fine Canadians
And others, it's seed has been sown
It's even hit some poets
Jinglebob has shown signs
Tumbleweed, and SW's
Posted pictures instead of rhymes
From New Mexico to Minnesota
It affects so many that we know
Even the great state of Montana
And it's been spotted in Idaho.
I guess it's affected this great nation
From the west coast to the east
It's almost been an epidemic
We call it the " ClickerBeast"
The only advice I can give you
Is throw that camera away
Unhook that nasty old computer
And drop to your knees and pray
The reason this is so serious is
It keeps you from your sleep
And instead of keeping livestock records
It's downloaded pictures that you keep
The common cause we've discovered
And it's been our best lead yet
Is it seems to affect most ranchers
That are found on Ranchers.net
Here's a few clicks I've taken in the last couple of months.
A little morning dew reflection
A summer Yukka
[/img]
Thirsty Calves
Silver water
[/img]
Goose enjoying water
A couple of sunsets
Hooter sunset
[/img]
Night time and some wicked baseball lightening, 1 -2-3 strikes you're out!
[/img]
Struck and burned!
[/img]
My kind of tree hugger
 [/img]
