K-State Halftime Show

Help Support Ranchers.net:

Then just say he has a concussion and treat accordingly. This diagnosis of "possible" is BS. The woods is full of inept doctors...I know that for a FACT. Turns out my wife's internist knew more what was going on with her than all the specialists she's seen in almost 2 years. A full 50% of the doctors practicing today graduated med school in the bottom 50% of their class. How's that for reassuring?

Well I better get with it & go accomplish something. But first I better check the truck for "possible" flat tires....

Why are concussions so hard to diagnose?

I guess some know more than the doctors...........................

KSU had a run of bad luck with injuries. I was very proud of Cook to step up and play like he did. that was amazing... still afraid he broke his collar bone.

we lost a close game to a ranked team with a WR playing QB..... you got beat by a team everyone beats, with your whole team....

discuss....
even your idol, Willa Cather, can see that NU blows this year

I thought state got jobbed by tboone but i guess it still counts.

I'd guess state may have 15 former QBs on their roster - just have to move back to position. Snyder may be the best of all time game planning to strengths and covering up weaknesses. Not surprised the schemes worked out for # 5 QB.

We're learning this concussion stuff is nothing to play with, and kids are all macho fibbing about what hurts. I think an incident where the pupils won't dilate or puking and dizziness necessitates several months off. A few weeks ago I saw a late, out of bounds hit from Valentine drive a running back into an unprotected light pole (that was too close to the field also). The running back literally didn't know where he was and the coach didn't play him the rest of the night. I think he needs 6 months to heal, but he played the next week a huge Bridgeport team.

I had one playing HS ball as well, took a couple months to get back right, straightened my neck out and had to go to the chiropractor basically every day for a month to get it back to normal. Concussions are nothing to mess with, that is for sure.

And we are still waiting to see if we talk like Mohamed Ali or can hide our own Easter eggs when we get old.

 I've thought about that more than a few times since the concussion subject got hot. I had my bell rung on numerous occasions while wearing those old Riddell suspension helmets. Most everyone else I played with did too.
