There is some link that they are proposing that crosses us, but the

We are not in the path. One brother is, and thinks it is fine, and has been well treated by the contact people. A brother in law also is on the path and may not be too happy with it.
Personally, I like having more taxpayers in the county. Some property tax payers are happy to have someone else fund rebuilding of some county gravel roads.
No matter where that oil ends up, the area it travels through will benefit, and the additional fuel WILL add to the total supply we all are competing for.
Buying from a good neighbo and trading patner, as Canada is, makes it a winner, too.

I was just curious to see if any of my Rancher's. net neighbors were going to be affected, no other reason than my own curiousity. if i've struck a nerve FH i'm sorry. if you all want to get political maybe the thread need's to go to PB

misses me also but it does cross the county where I am a member of the School board. It will be a benefit to the school because it will generate more tax dollars.

The first route was going across my grandparents place .Then it got moved.Then it went just south of my dads place. Now they've supposed to have moved it five miles north of us .
It does not cross our land but would be alright with it if it did ! I think it will be good for County's and all of us if it goes threw? There have been crews mapping and doing core drilling in our county this summer so was able to visit with some of the folks working on this project. One of the things folks here were worried about here was crossing our rivers ( Cheyenne ) for one, We were told that the pipe would be bored in from one side clear across and it would be a pipe inside of a pipe, so if it ever started to leak they could pull it out to fix it. While we there they were test drilling down 180', I asked why so deep, was told that was how deep the pipeline was going to be where it crosses the river, Very interesting stuff? 101

Misses me by about 10 miles. As others have said, the pipeline should have a positive impact on local property tax revenue, and also be another paying customer for rural electrics supplying power.
