Yearling heifers enjoying one last day in the Sandhills

Reflecting on their life thus far

Looking down

Peaceful warm summer morning

Girls on the go

Rippling waters

Veterinarian gathering individual identification making it legal to take these heifers to Minnesota

The new chute works very well. We ran through 140 head in an hour and twenty minutes; identifying them, giving them a foot-rot shot, a pink-eye shot, and pour-on fly control.

It is a Stronghold brand, with hand operated hydraulic squeeze. A valve can allow the hydaulics to also operate
the head sweep. I like it because it runs so quiet, and yet has all the hydraulic functions that are really necessary.

Hard working cowgirls

The vet and his able assistant

Thirsty morning

Kosmo's family out for a walk

One happy, one sad, and one that just doesn't care.

If this pasture wasn't so secluded and far away, I'd hay it.

Windmill standing guard
