Ty got posted bad in Airdrie tonight-he took his reride and bucked off right at the buzzer-one judge said yes-one no. He went to wrangler Sports Medicine and found out his hip was out when he rode his reride. They popped it back in and he's iced down heading to Ponoka. They had a 91 point bareback ride there today.
 
Did you two manage to meet up today. He's pretty sore but he'll still ride I'm sure. Wrangler Sports Med will be in Ponoka and they do a great job. if they'd of gave him a break tonight on his ride might of helped.
 
Got bucked off in Ponoka today and did the splits-said he couldn't squeeze-got to spend four hours at hospital and is on a ten day medical. He'll miss nine rodeos and be pretty much pouched as far as making CFR and CCA finals won't be able to get enough rodeos in- not the happiest camper in Canada right now. He'll have his hammer cocked in Calgary I'm sure-then heads up to Peace Country.
 
Hopefully Northern, he has a cute little buckle bunny there to nurse him back to health. She won't make up for the rodeos he's missing, but having a pretty nurse to look at sure cuts down on the misery.
 
Well he got his first ambulance ride out of an arena-he said they wouldn't let him walk off. I think he might have some company while he convalesces :wink: Something real cool happened at Airdrie-Will Lowe got his bareback rigging smashed up-he went behind the chutes and borrowed Lane Collins-a novice bareback rider from Manitoba and was mid80's. I guess if you can ride that good on a borrowed rigging you can be a three time world champ. Ty's Airdrie horse posted him into the front off the chute then backed out and reared up but it kind of launched off its back feet before it went over on him backwards. I hope Calgary has seasoned horses for the Novice guys like last year.
