Lunch with the girls.........

Mr. Lilly off to get the first bale. Soon as the tractor fires up...they all go to mooin'. I love that sound....(the cows...not the tractor lol)

A couple of patient waiters.....although one looks kinda confused as to what's goin on LOL Yeah it's new to her.

The dinner bell.....

Oh yeah...lunch is served!! Hurry up and get the strings off.....that's like you people findin a hair in your food!

Muffin is not one to wait patiently...she tends to treat it like an appetizer, few bites from the end of the bale while the strings are removed.

Goin for bale #2 while the girls dig in....

No dinner napkins at this table! Just dive right in and getcha some. Who cares if ya wear some of it.

I know it...I have hairy ears. And I don't care if I have hairy ears...I also only have one horn....I'm beautiful anyway. My sister in the next picture has hairy ears too.....but it doesn't phase her.

Scuse me...scuse me...I haven't gotten a bite yet....alright outta my way sister!

Lettin it all hang out. Ya just ain't no other way to eat it.

I don't know what all the hooplah is about.....but don't I have beautiful eyebrows and whiskers?

Milk.....it's what's for dinner.....

Why did I hafta get this big white spot on my head like my mom has? It's so embarassin.....

Here's another sister...she chews with her mouth open....

And makes funny faces when she eats.....but we don't care...as long as Mr. Lilly keeps bringin us bales.

Nice pictures, Jersey Lilly. Maybe my imagination is running too wild, but at first glance of the one with the calf sucking, it looks like a white human arm is over the calf's head. Then the person's thumb is around the calf's nose, and the point finger is in the calf's bubbly mouth. :wink: Don't mind me; I'm probably just hallucinatin' after drinking the last of the New Year's eggnog. :roll:

They are all three Braunviehs.

The Braunvieh might be the oldest pure breed on earth, with records dating back to 800 B.C. Recently, archeologists have found cattle bones among the ruins of the ancient Swiss Lake Dwellers similar to those of the present-day Braunvieh. This would date these cattle somewhere around the Bronze Age. Braunvieh cattle imported to the United States in the 19th century were the origin of the modern Brown Swiss cattle breed.

It must be a little chilly there..yur cows actually have long hair! And Mr. Lilly has his coveralls on!...the only thing yur missen is the wind and snow in your pictures..lol Fun shots..and they look like they enjoyed their lunch alot!
