Back to the main topic of this thread..........I was at the grocery store today and saw an "off brand" peanut butter on sale. I picked it up and looked at it--MADE IN INDIA. Some of this stuff just blows my mind.

I know! Check out the individually wrapped fruit cups (can't remember the brand name). Anyhow, I think I read they were made in some asian country. I've been to a few asian countries, and definitely didn't get sick eating the food, but I'd rather stick with good ol' USA products when possible!

I've been shopping some at a little food co-op that only sells foods made in this country, and local foods when possible. Surprisingly it isn't more expensive, and you know where the food comes from. Been getting farm fresh eggs weekly without owning a single chicken . My neighbor is supplying the store's beef, and they're getting pork, and lamb from a rancher up around Torrington. Pretty neat .

No Trader Joe's here. Some of those BC wines are good, especially the ice wines.

The Ice wine from Niagra Falls is the Best!!! I buy the Wayne Gretsky stuff,proceeds go to kids that couldn't afford hockey equipment and registration.Greg says I must wanna help those kids out alot by the amount of ice wine I consume.... :wink:

yummy. There's two kinds; one is golden so it's peach, pineapple,
strawberry and mango.

And one is more berry type.


You can thaw it out, or for summer, eat it frozen.
